Daily-driver since 2017 (~6 cans/week). Prefers slim format, 14–22 mg/g range. Reviews focus on lip comfort and duration consistency across long sessions. Background in mechanical-engineering QA — applies a tolerance-and-batch-variation mindset to pouch build quality.

Switched from cigarettes in 2022 with a structured taper from 11 mg/g down to 6 mg/g over 14 months. Higher-strength tolerance retained from the cigarette era. Reviews focus on kick onset and discreteness under business attire — most of her assessment time is in client meetings and on calls.

Low-strength specialist — has settled in the 4–8 mg/g band for the last three years after rotating through every tier. Snus user since 2014, originally introduced via Swedish colleagues. Reviews focus on flavour-carrier comfort (the formulation factors that read on the lip without referring to taste) and discreteness in superslim formats.

Switched from chewing tobacco to nicotine pouches in 2021. Prefers large-format pouches for longer duration sessions; tracks kick intensity and duration-in-minutes scores closely because his use pattern is fewer-but-longer sessions rather than continuous low-grade. Reviews emphasise build quality and moisture retention across the can lifetime.

Recreational user since 2019, gravitates toward the Extra Strong tier (16+ mg/g) and mini format. Reviews focus on kick onset (the first 60 seconds), drip volume management, and the trade-off between mini discreteness and the shorter duration the format implies.

No published reviews yet. The pipeline opens when the first reviewer completes their first dimension-scored review. Until then, every product page is honest about it: AggregateRating JSON-LD is omitted, no fake stars, no seeded ratings.

When the first reviews land, here is what each review will contain. The format is fixed editorially so that scores across reviewers stay comparable.

  1. A named byline that links to the reviewer's profile — country of residence, snus history, preferred strength range, total review count, and date joined.
  2. The eight functional dimension scores, recorded during the session against a stopwatch, not after writing prose. Kick intensity, kick onset, lip comfort, duration in minutes, drip volume, moisture retention, discreteness, build quality.
  3. A short narrative tying the scores to the session — what the reviewer noticed, what surprised them, what was consistent with the brand's labelling and what wasn't. We deliberately do not write about taste.
  4. The session metadata: which can-lot the pouch came from (so batch-variation is traceable), which format and strength was on the lip, how long the can had been open before the test session, and the dated time the review was written.

Aggregate scores across multiple reviewers per product are published on the product page itself, gated on at least one real review per dimension so the page does not show a synthetic average before there is real data behind it.

We made the deliberate choice to launch without any reviews rather than launch with seeded or AI-generated reviews. The reviewer panel onboards at 1–3 new named reviewers per month and the first published reviews are expected as that pipeline matures.
